Threads in Time Vintage Clothing

We opened  our doors in May 0f  2005,

in our one and only location in Greenville, South Carolina.

In 2006 we started our online shop, so customers could view our selection before coming in, or shop online anytime.

In May of 2011, we closed our physical store, to give us more time to improve the quality and selection of our online store.

So what do we do exactly?

Threads in Time works a bit differently than most vintage shops. We hand-pick our Vintage Clothing ourselves.

(unlike some chain vintage shops that get whatever is sent to them).

We make Vintage Inspired Designs from vintage patterns and fabric, custom costumes and retro-wear for parties.

We also make custom clothing for special occasions or everyday, and professional alterations of vintage or contemporary clothing.

If you can describe it, we can make it!

There is no need to worry about cleaning it or getting it fixed that has already been done, so it's ready to wear now!

Threads in Time New & Reconstructed Clothing

Our line of clothing is designed and created by us, using vintage and retro fabrics and vintage sewing patterns as inspiration.

Some of our clothing is made completely from scratch, and some only partially... like keeping the original hem or bodice.

We've designed them to be Cute, Sexy, Fun, Vintage and Modern all in one.

They are without a doubt true one-of-a-kind originals.

We have costumed high school plays, fashion shows, ballroom dance competitors, pageants, prom, weddings, costume balls, theater productions,

T V & movie extras, and themed parties!

The following pictures are from a display done for The Greenville History Museum, summer 2010.

Our Sales Policy:

All Sales Are Final, all items are sold as is and are non-refundable. We do our best in describing everything. If you have any questions regarding an item ask before purchase.

Vintage is not perfect. Most of our clothing is at least 30 years old and has been worn. We do clean and mend most of our things. Some items 1940's and older have not been cleaned if we are unsure of how fabric, beading or other details will wash. Vintage items over 60 years old may not be wearable, if so it will be stated along with items description. Also leather and fur has not been professionally cleaned.

Once order leaves our hands we are not responsible if lost, stolen, damaged or delivered late. If any of these things should happen you must contact shipper. We ship to the address provided to us by Paypal. It is your responsibility to make sure that your address is correct. We will contact you with your items tracking number and expected arrival date, however if the e-mail address provided to us through Paypal doesn't work we can't contact you.
